Boat Repairs & Refurbishment
Our facilities have the capacity to hold singles and doubles while under repair. Fours and eights will be limited to on site repairs.
All repairs will need to be viewed for assessment to ensure we are the right people for the work to be done, and make sure its within our remit. Significant damage such as complete separations/splits for the time being are best carried out by larger workshops with the capacity to build moulds. We plan to level up to this skill set in the near future but will be restricted by space at our facilities.
We will soon hope to be running some very fun projects in and around the region in relation to repairs and for both boats and oars and look forward to sharing this with everyone very soon. For more information on this, you will need to monitor our website and facebook page.
Oar Repair & Refurbishment
This is how we began and something we take a little pride in. There’s nothing quite like a nice shiny set of blades to take out on the water, and we’ve spent hours working on endless numbers of them. A lick of paint to represent the club colours or a new handle and that perfect grip suited just to your taste, we can do just what you need or strip them all the way back and re-build them, we’ve done it all.
Grounds Prep
We thought we would add this one in as part of our ‘full service’ having considered what more could we do to help clubs. Per day bookings will most likely be available from Jan 2025 and offers up the ability to book in grounds crew to tidy the exterior of your regatta event. Clearing verges, cutting back hedges, overgrowth, cutting lawns and maybe even fields, and will need to be booked and paid in advance.
Event Crew
Our business acumen has grown from too many years of experience within very dynamic commercial background and so we are very familiar with marketing, making a statement, being proud of your brand and what your involved with. So it should be no surprise that this is one of the first things that we put on our bucket list for things to have. That said, we should recognise that all regattas have event crews already. In most cases these people would be mum, dad, friends, family and even volunteers you never met before in your life, but unbeknown to you, just wanted you to have a fun day. We hope to support everyone involved on the day, add a little splash of colour of our own and make you feel a little special at the same time.
